October 29th- Fall Concert at Frisco HS- 6:30-7:45 PM
October 31st- Pep Rally
November 5th- All-Region Phase 1 (Symphonic Band Flutes, Clarinets, Trumpets, Trombones)- Trent MS- 5:30-9:15 (individual times to be assigned later)
November 6th- All-Region Phase 1 (Symphonic Band Oboes, Bassoons, Alto Saxophones, French Horns, Euphoniums, Tubas, and Percussion)- Scoggins MS- 5:30-9:15 (individual times to be assigned later)
November 11th- Veterans Day Assembly (Symphonic Band Only)
November 13th- All-Region Phase 2 (Symphonic Band Bass Clarinets and all advancing from Phase 1)- Nelson Middle School- 5:30-9:15 (individual times to be assigned later)
High School Corner
Both the Reedy and Frisco High School Bands are into their competitive marching seasons!
Both the Reedy HS and Frisco HS bands earned 1st Division Ratings at their UIL contest last Saturday! Both schools will advance to the Area contest on Saturday, November 1st where they will have the chance to compete for a trip to the State marching contest!

Chick-Fil-A Spirit Day- October 27th
Concert and Symphonic Band Fall Concert- Wednesday, October 29th
Location: Frisco High School
Schedule:
6:15-6:25pm - Students arrive at Frisco High School for warm-up. Symphonic Band warms up in the band hall. Concert Band warms up in the orchestra room.
6:30pm - Students are seated in their warm up locations ready to play.
6:55 PM- Students will move to the auditorium for the concert. Concert Band members will take a seat on stage while Symphonic Band sits in the audience and watches.
7:00 PM- The concert will begin!
7:45 PM- Approximate end of the concert.
Students will wear their 2025-2026 band tshirt with jeans and tennis shoes. They should bring their instrument, music, and everything they need to play.
This is a required, graded performance. All Concert and Symphonic Band students must be in attendance.
"Upgrade Your Sound" Event
Music and Arts is hosting several "Upgrade Your Sound" events over the next 3 weekends. These are great opportunities to go and try upgraded models of the instruments that the students have been playing on as beginners.
The flute and clarinet event is on Saturday, October 25th at Music and Arts in Lewisville. The trumpet and trombone event is on November 1st at the same location. The saxophone event is on November 8th at the Music and Arts in Frisco.

Symphonic Band Sectionals
Symphonic Band Sectionals are currently on pause. Students have signed up for individual times with Mr. Jenson to review their All-Region music and scales.
Concert Band Sectionals
There are no sectionals next week for Concert Band.
