Middle School Night with the Reedy Band
Friday, October 13th - Kuykendall Stadium
We would LOVE for parents to attend this event. Everyone who enters the stadium must purchase a ticket. CLICK HERE for more information.
4:15pm Arrive at Reedy HS. Drop off on the South Side of the School. Students are responsible for providing their own transportation - we highly encourage carpooling! :)
In the picture above, the blue arrows indicate our suggested route from Pearson to Reedy. The Yellow arrow and star indicate where to drop off your student. Bring - Instrument (in the case), lyre/wire music stand/flip folder (depending on your instrument), and water bottle or large water jug. Students who have a home and a school instrument will bring their home instrument. All tubas will use the ¾ size tubas. Percussion will transport their drum (inside the case), stand, and harness from Pearson to Reedy. Wear - Pearson Band Shirt and tennis shoes. 4:30pm Dinner provided in the Reedy HS Cafeteria. Students will eat with the Reedy Band in sections. 5:45pm Load the busses and depart for Kuykendall Stadium Percussion will load their drums on the truck. When we arrive at the stadium, bring your drum (inside the case), harness, and drum stand to the stadium stands. Large instruments will leave their cases behind the stands. Small instruments will bring their case with them into the stands. 6:00pm Arrive at Kuykendall Stadium Everyone will move to the stands as a group with your instrument and wait to be seated. 7:00pm Kickoff We will play Crunch Time and The Hey Song in the stands with the combined bands! Halftime Middle school students will watch the HS halftime show from the stands and then exit the stadium with their directors for pick up. 8:45-9:00pm Students picked up at the Stadium Zoomed out picture of the stadium:

-The yellow box indicates where the Reedy Band sits in the stands -For parents who ARE attending the football game, you will check out your student with Mr. Jenson behind the stands where the band is performing (indicated by a red star) -For parents who are NOT attending the football game, you will check out your student with Mrs. Black outside the front entrance on Stadium Lane (indicated by a blue star) Please note, in order to enter the stadium, you MUST purchase a ticket - they will not let you into the stadium without a ticket even if you’re just picking up your child. Percussion, you will take your drum, harness, and stand home over the weekend and bring it back to school on Monday.
