All Region Audition Information
Detailed information about the All Region Auditions were sent via email on Thursday November 2nd. Please reach out to Ms. Black if you need the information resent.
Important Dates
Tuesday, November 7 - Phase 1 All-Region Auditions at McKinney Boyd High School (McKinney ISD). Students will be given an individual audition time. Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Clarinet, Alto Sax, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, and Percussion students will attend the Phase 1 audition.
Saturday, November 11 - Phase 2 All-Region Auditions at Cockrill Middle School (McKinney ISD). Students will be given an individual audition time. Students who advance from Phase 1 to Phase 2 will attend along with all Bass Clarinet, Tenor Sax, and Bari Sax players.
Friday/Saturday, December 1-2 - All-Region Clinic and Concert at McKinney North High School and Scott Johnson Middle School (McKinney ISD).
Band Spirit Night at Fuzzy's Taco Shop
Join us at Fuzzy's for our November Spirit Night. You must bring the flyer with you for the band to receive a portion of your order's proceeds. CLICK HERE for a printable version.
Organization/Club Picture Day - Wednesday November 8
Students should wear their band t-shirt on Wednesday November 8 for the Concert and Symphonic Band yearbook pictures. The picture will be taken during 3rd period. Symphonic Band students will be called down to the gym over the intercom.
Veterans Day Ceremony
On Friday November 10, students in the Symphonic Band will perform for the Veterans Day Ceremony.
Itinerary:
7:45am Meet in the band hall
7:50am Warm up. Percussion begins setting up equipment in the gym.
8:05am Begin setting up chairs and stands in the gym
8:15am Sound Check in the gym
8:30am Veterans Day Ceremony Begins. We will play Marches of the Armed Forces.
Bring: Instrument (and all the supplies needed to play it), band binder.
Wear: Band tshirt and JEANS
This is a required/graded performance for students in Symphonic Band.
