The Reedy HS Band also made school history by making the finals at the area competition back-to-back years for the first time!

Reedy HS 8th Grade Game Night- November 17th
8th grade students and parents that are zoned for Reedy HS should have received the below email from Mr. Stalcup today. If you did not, let me know so that we can get that fixed.
🎲 Students:
Join us on Monday, November 17th from 5:30–7:30 PM for a joint game night with the Reedy High School Band! This is a fun and relaxed way to connect with current high school band members, enjoy some games, eat great food, and kick off the Thanksgiving break with some excitement.
Whether or not you plan to continue in band next year, we’d love for all 8th-grade band students to attend—you won’t want to miss it!
👨👩👧 Parents:
While your student is having fun, we invite you to join us from 6:45–7:30 PM for a brief but informative session about high school band. We’ll answer common questions like:
How much time does band really take?
Can my child succeed academically while in band?
(Spoiler: YES! Last year’s valedictorian was a four-year band member!)
Can my child participate in other activities while doing band?
(Spoiler: YES! Our students are involved in nearly every activity on campus!)
How does band fit into a high school schedule?
We’ll also share a slide deck afterward, but you’ll get the most value from attending in person—we promise it’ll be worth your time!
At Reedy, we’re proud to offer a world-class band experience that builds on the strong musical foundation your student has already developed. We’re here to support them in all their high school endeavors and beyond.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. We hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
Logan Stalcup
