Reedy HS Mini Marching Camp- February 26th

Hi Future Reedy Band Members!

We are so excited to welcome you to our wonderful Reedy High School campus in just a few months! I wanted to remind you about an upcoming event designed to help you connect with your future band family and get a feel for what being in the Reedy Band is all about.

New Member Mini-Camps

5:15–7:15 PM at Reedy High School

  • 2/26 (next Thursday!)

  • 3/11

  • 4/8

These once-a-month camps are where we’ll introduce the basics of marching and give you a chance to meet students from both of our feeder middle schools. The goal is to help you start building friendships, learn some fundamentals, and feel confident heading into high school band. It’s always a fun and relaxed time!

If you need to miss a camp, no worries—just join us at the next one. However, we’d love to see you at all three if you can make it!

What to Bring

  • Comfortable clothes

  • Closed-toe tennis shoes

(Please no flats, Crocs, or Converse)

  • A bottle of water

  • A positive attitude—you're going to learn something new and have fun doing it!

We’ll be very lightly active, so no stress—nothing close to an intense workout.

Also important: you will NOT need your instrument for this event.

If you’re still deciding whether to continue in band (especially because of marching band), this is a perfect chance to try it out in a low‑pressure environment. And if you’re already excited to begin—fantastic! You’re going to have a great time!

Please reach out if you have any questions!

Sincerely,

Mr. Stalcup
