It has been a busy month in the band hall, which we loving refer to as "Bandtober". Our advanced band students in Concert and Symphonic Band had three community performances this month: an 8th grade football game, Bledsoe's Walk to School day, and a Pearson MS pep rally. We are SO EXCITED that your Beginning Band student will be joining the Pearson Band at those activities next year!!
Tuesday October 18 is our first band concert! We are very excited to show you what we have learned so far this year! Details for the concert are as follows:
Beginning Band Show and Tell Concert
Date: Tuesday October 18, 2022
Location: Pearson Middle School Cafeteria
Time: 6:30-7:30pm
Schedule:
6:00pm - Students arrive. We will hold a quick dress rehearsal in the cafeteria - doors will be locked.
6:25pm - Doors are unlocked and parents may enter the cafeteria.
6:30pm - Concert Begins
approximately 7:30pm - Concert Ends
Band tshirts arrived this week and were placed in student's lockers! They will wear the 2022-2023 Band tshirt with pants and tennis shoes for this performance (any material or color).
Students will need their instrument (and necessary supplies) and band binder for this performance.
This is a required (graded) performance. All students must be in attendance.
Chick-fil-a Spirit Night
